World Peace and Understanding Day

Oh what an evening! This past Thursday, SFRC in collaboration with other Frederick Rotarians celebrated and reflected on World Peace. The event was held at the Rosenstock Building on the Campus of Hood College. It was a simple format; after the opening remarks, the group of over 100 participants broke up and participated in five sessions. At the end of the evening, there was a strong sense that the Fredrick Rotarians need to continue the dialogue on world peace, focusing on a joint project in our area. Among the dignitaries in attendance were District Governor, Ken Solow, District Governor Designate Greg Wims, Assistant Governor, Mary Ford-Nail.
